After thirty-one years as the leading arts organization of Napa County, Arts Council Napa Valley holds proven dedication to the cultural enrichment of Napa Valley.
From our humble beginnings as a volunteer organization in 1980 to our role as the able non-profit organization we are today, Arts Council Napa Valley has always kept, at the heart of its mission, the cultural needs of the community.
We proudly present the following programs to our community:
Our annual month-long arts festivals, Napa Valley Arts in April™ (April 2011) and Napa Valley ARTS (Autumn 2011), are our two newest programs holding steadfast to our goals of celebrating and advancing the multitude of art organizations and communities that call Napa Valley their home;
Our educational programming, including Poetry Out Loud (in partnership with the California Arts Council) Napa County Reads (in partnership with the Napa County Office of Education), the Student City Hall Exhibition Program (in partnership with the City of Napa and the Jewish Community Foundation), inspire and engage Napa’s creative youth;
Our public art programming, including the Napa ARTwalk (in partnership with the City of Napa) and ARTS on F1RST (in partnership with the Napa Tourism Improvement District and Napa Property & Business Improvement District), inspire and engage Napa’s community;
Our interactive arts & culture calendar NVArts.org, is a one-of-a-kind free resource for tourists and residents of Napa Valley. The most comprehensive culture calendar in the County, NVArts.org showcases of all that our creative community has to offer;
Lastly, our proud partnerships with like-minded nonprofits via our Nonprofit Arts Coalition, as well as our business partnerships with the City of Napa Redevelopment Agency, the County of Napa, Destination Council of Napa Valley, and similarly vital community resources, have allowed us to be instrumental in developing a strong and united cultural community.
Arts Council Napa Valley is accomplished by the generosity of its funders, including the Napa Valley Community Foundation, California Arts Council, County of Napa, and the Hewlett Foundation, to sustain and develop our role as the arts leader of Napa County, and by the support of the Napa Community.
