Kristine Cummins is the Marketer and Webmaster for Arts Council Napa Valley and needs a team to help assist with fulfilling the Cultural Plan strategies, "Raising Awareness of the Arts" and to "Ensure Inclusion". If you are a student, use this as an opportunity for great referrals and experience! Some projects may be paid; great way for a student to gain experience for a great cause!

Volunteers who have accumulated 25 hours over a one-year period with Arts Council qualify for a free Community Level membership! Volunteers with 100 hours of service over a one-year period qualify for a free Registered Artist Level membership!

- SOCIAL NETWORKERS
If you are a Facebooker, dedicated to promoting arts and culture, and love to stay abreast of events in the Valley, then we have the task for you! We update our Facebook fan page with events at least four times daily (approx 8am, 11am, 1pm, 3pm). It is not expected that you update 24/7 but any help is appreciated. This can be done from home.

- WEB & PRINT GRAPHIC DESIGNER
Need one dedicated and talented person to team with Kristine / Ongoing. Photoshop CS is required.
- A letter-sized flier already designed in Photoshop CS needs to be adjusted for Spanish translation (translation copy supplied). Same flier converted in 4-up on letter-sized paper in both Spanish and English (handbills).
- Web banner ad creation.
- Special Web page creation for e-mail list.

- FLIER DISTRIBUTORS
We have print materials that need to be distributed to key locations in the Valley; namely NVarts.org business cards and fliers. This position would be perfect for someone who travels around the valley a lot.
- HISPANIC COMMUNITY POINT TEAM
We're trying to get as much of our Hispanic community on board to submit events in Spanish and to enjoy using the calendar, NVarts.org as a part of the Napa County Cultural Plan to "Ensure Inclusion". It is important to the Arts Council that all of our community is involved with the fun that our Napa Valley community offers. We need volunteer assistance to do community outreach in whatever ways productive, Spanish flier and card distribution and assistance with submitting events to the calendar in Spanish.
- EVENT PHOTOGRAPHERS
We need photographs taken for our Mixer for Members event on Thursday, March 18, 6-8pm at the Rutherford Grange. The digital camera will be supplied at the event. We need ongoing event photographers for the Arts Council. Photos are used for community promotion of events.
- WRITERS
We specifically need one person dedicated to converting our monthly Cultural Plan Activity Update into 500 words, written in third-person for the Napa Valley Register due on the last Friday of the month. Other writing assistance may come up such as writing press releases for special ACNV events.
- ARTIST OPPORTUNITIES MINERS
Mining for and submitting Artist Opportunities through online form on this website. The Council office is also a resource as we receive artist opps email and mail on a regular basis. Opportunities in the San Francisco Bay Area is preferrable but open to the state of California. This can be done at home or from our volunteer desk at the office.

- EVENT MINERS
Mining for and submitting events to NVarts.org. Search for arts and culture events in Napa County (varied methods) and submit the events through the online submission form. This can be done at home or from our volunteer desk at the office. This can be done at home or from our volunteer desk at the office.
- CALENDAR PROMOTERS
We need assistance in contacting Napa County organizations via e-mail with raising awareness of NVarts.org and instruction on how to submit events. This can be done at home or from our volunteer desk at the office.
This position will shift into a Sales position with 10% cut for selling licenses to use calendar scripts on other websites.

- HONORARY COORDINATORS
Every month we honor community members supporting the arts. We need assistance with collecting names of people, printing quarter-sized cards, stuffing inserts and mailing. Must be able to come into the ACNV office once per month, use the printer to print the cards and inserts, stamp and drop off in box.

ARTIST REGISTRY COORDINATOR
Updating the online Artist Registry which includes launching new artist data or updating existing data. Position requires experience with photo editing for the Web and an FTP connection. This can be done at home or from our volunteer desk at the office.
