I consider myself a 'colorist'. Much of my work is created plein air, such as "Feather River", or in front of an assemblage of still life objects, such as "Cherries on Lace", or painted from photos taken by me, such as "Lone Oak". My palette is the recognizable and transcending force in my varied work, which also includes "visages" and abstract works. I have designed a series of note cards which include memorable quotes from well-know persons, framing one of my works of art. I also have a line of hand made earrings and dyed silk scarves, which can be seen on my website.
