The sensual impact of color and the drama of a gesture inspire my art. As drawing is an essential ingredient of my art, I am continually challenged to quickly capture the essence of a human gesture, the slant of an old barn or the spirit of a landscape. In my professional life, as principal of a marketing an design firm, I have a firm foundation in the world of marketing and design. In my figurative work I often let free flowing abstractions set the stage by using a combination of color pigments in a way that sets the stage for the dance of making art.
