Louise is a self taught artist with a distinctive style that separates her from the rest of the art world.  She has experimented with many different mediums and has discovered acrylic paint to be her preference.  With a gift for integrating color and intangible images, Louise is able to take an old, tattered piece of furniture and turn it into a functioning piece of art for today’s homes.  She has also painted murals in preschools and restaurants; some of her best wall painting can be seen in Children’s World at the Squaw Valley ski resort.  Her motto is “renew life with art”.  Louise’s love for painting started as a way of making unique gifts for family and friends. She soon learned her rare technique was being sought after by others and now offers her talents to the public.  Louise is also an accomplished pianist and finds fulfillment in teaching others how to play.

LAF (Louise’s Art Furniture) Creations is an exciting way to bring a worn out piece of furniture to life. Her work will enhance any environment. Louise Perry is a self taught artist with a distinctive style of taking an old, tattered piece of furniture and turning it into a functioning piece of art.  With a gift for integrating color and intangible images, Louise uses acrylic paint to transform plain furniture into intricate, whimsical art.  Louise’s Art Furniture (LAF Creations) is created by mixing shapes, structures and natures figures to form a visual texture. Louise is also known for her playful children’s furniture and art work.  Many children’s rooms across California are adorned with LAF Creations producing a fun, delightful, fantasy filled room.  She has also painted murals for preschools, restaurants and in children’s rooms; Squaw Valley Ski Resort has multiple murals in their preschool Children’s World. Louise is an accomplished classical pianist and finds fulfillment in teaching others how to play.  LAF Creations is a balance of form, function and fascination.
