"Our partnership with ACNV enables us to bring trained arts teachers into our classrooms to nurture our students' creative thinking and expression. Arts Council has also strengthened our annual program, 'Napa County Reads'. This series of events, which takes place in schools and community forums, inspires us all to greater achievement in literacy through the visual and performing arts, and it brings families together to celebrate the artistic and educational achievements of our children."

Workshop & Materials Fees

Workshops: All artist instructors are paid $40 per hour plus 1/2 - hour prep time for each in-class teaching hour.

Materials: The cost for materials is determined by the number of students, type of project and available school supplies. If the cost of materials is not included in the grant application, the school is responsible for reimbursing the artist directly.

Touring Performers: Touring performers are paid by the performance rather than by the hour. Please contact the performer to confirm their current fees.
