"Our partnership with ACNV enables us to bring trained arts teachers into our classrooms to nurture our students' creative thinking and expression. Arts Council has also strengthened our annual program, 'Napa County Reads'. This series of events, which takes place in schools and community forums, inspires us all to greater achievement in literacy through the visual and performing arts, and it brings families together to celebrate the artistic and educational achievements of our children."

Funding Requirements

The following requirements must be met for your school or organization to qualify for Arts Ed Funding:

  • Artists hired must be from this catalog of pre-screened, fingerprinted participants.
  • Applicants must be located within Napa County.
  • Any public school, private school, after school program, or youth educational organization may apply.
  • Classes or performances must take place before June 30, 2009. For special consideration of summer classes, please contact ACNV at 707-257-2117 or email ACNV (at) artscouncilnapavalley.org.
  • Schools must contribute a portion (ideally matching the amount you are requesting) of the programming for which they are requesting ACNV funding.
