Visit Napa Vallley, in collaboration with
Arts Council Napa Valley, presents Arts in April 2013
Visit Napa Valley and Arts Council Napa Valley are partnering again to produce Napa Valley Arts in April, showcasing another rich, diverse and remarkable aspect to offer visitors: the extraordinary arts available in wineries throughout the valley. A full PR and marketing campaign will support the promotion, with the goal of bringing overnight guests throughout the month.
Don't Have an Existing Art Program? Arts Council Napa Valley will help you coordinate a "pop-up" exhibition at your winery so you can take advantage of this consumer-targeted promotion!
Sign up forms are available through Visit Napa Valley. To fill out a form online, please click here. The earlier you submit your offer, the more exposure you will receive.
Napa Valley Arts in April 2013 will feature four weekly "art crawl" tours of the winery arts, curated by geography, encouraging guests to extend their experience throughout the Valley. Here are the dates for each focus area:
Calistoga/North: April 1-7
St. Helena/Rutherford: April 8-14
Oakville/Yountville: April 15-21
Napa/Carneros/American Canyon: April 22-27
Participating wineries are asked to showcase existing art exhibits during your region's focus period at no charge, plus offer at least one other activity, like a "meet the artist" reception, two-for-one or special cellar tastings, docent-led art tours, art-in-progress salons, or other offerings that are unique to the Arts in April program. Click here for more background information and unique ideas on how your winery can participate.
The fee is $250 for wineries who have an existing exhibit and $500 for wineries who use the "pop-up" service. Fees include annual membership in Arts Council Napa Valley. Please make payment available to Arts Council Napa Valley, P.O. Box 2782, Napa CA. 94558, or click here to make your payment online.
