Beetle Shadow feels to me like a moment in time that is soon to pass. Here today, gone or changed in some way tomorrow. Below the beetle are various aquatic and other life forms while on the other side is a fossil image of an ancient lizard. Time flows forward and moves on leaving shadows from the past.
Most of my work revolves around evolution andthe interconnectedness of all life. Everything in the universe, from stars, the earth, flora and fauna are made up of the same atoms, just arranged in different ways.
