Carol Troy

I bring the eye of Conde Nast and New York Times reportage to the farmland of the Napa Valley: I moved from Soho to St. Helena.

I shoot people.

VANITY FAIR, CONDE-NAST TRAVELER, The New York Times -- and our book CHEAP CHIC -- published my pictures.

A permanent exhibition of The St. Helena Farmers' Market hangs at The Culinary Institute of America, St. Helena.

Dogs are my latest obsession, when I shoot the black-and-white dog portraits for the glorious Bardessono Hotel in Yountville.

My prints -- in collections in San Francisco, New York, London -- are often sized at thirty-by-twenty inches and getting relentlessly larger and more detailed. These are not skills I learned during my undergraduate years at Vassar College.
