Studying, exhibiting and publishing photography since the 1980’s, David Alosi has traveled to China and Cuba with Napa Valley College, where he has also studied Spanish for six years and volunteered in the Photography department. He is now exploring digital collage techniques working with images from Cuba. He has created a “Loteria” series, mixing text, photography and scanned objects and a series of Calaveras based on images from El Dia de los Muertos.
More recently, he has traveled to New York City, Argentina Myanmar, and Vietnam with the photography department at Solano Community College through their Travel/Study program.
He continues exploring digital manipulation and collage techniques.
