The Napa Creek Project is a new, annual, temporary, site-specific public art program privately funded and promoted in partnership with Arts Council Napa Valley. The program aims to enhance the newly landscaped Napa Creek corridor and increase foot traffic to this part of downtown Napa.
Location The Napa Creek runs through downtown Napa under Main Street. The corridor next to Cole's Chop House has recently been updated according to the Napa River Flood Plan. The site includes a newly landscaped patio and concrete walkway. The available area (approximately 70 square feet) for the artist's installation includes a triangle shaped patio, 18ft long walkway, and an adjacent planting area (see photos below).
