Information for Presenters
In 2006, Arts Council Napa Valley launched an online calendar to showcase local arts and culture events. This calendar, NVarts.org, quickly became a go-to resource for art happenings throughout the county.
With outstanding community backing, Arts Council Napa Valley decided to turn up the volume on this popular online resource and announced the Napa Valley ARTS program in 2010. Napa Valley ARTS is a month-long spotlight on NVarts.org arts and culture events, featuring activities ranging from free arts education classes and historical reenactments to film screenings and black tie galas. Napa Valley ARTS offers our community the chance to harvest the bounty of local culture alongside grapes every Napa autumn.
Napa Valley ARTS ‘11 will begin where last year’s celebration left off. Arts Council Napa Valley’s second annual valley-wide festival will present arts and culture events throughout the valley - from American Canyon to Calistoga, all month long (October 1- 31). Geared toward the Napa Valley community (and visitors, too!), Napa Valley ARTS ‘11 will feature tons of fun events at all price points, including dance performances, theatre shows, music debuts, art openings, film premieres, art classes, and more!
Arts Council Napa Valley proudly presents Napa Valley ARTS ‘11. The program is made possible through the generosity of the William and Flora Hewlett Foundation, Napa County, Napa Valley Destination Council, the Napa Tourism Improvement District, and the Napa Valley Community Foundation.

ACNV is enlisting the marketing support of AugustineIdeas - the think tank behind Downtown Napa's new "Do(wntown) Napa" and ART ON F1RST branding and marketing campaigns. They bring an innovative, dynamic, and playful addition to the ARTS '11 marketing team, as well as a tighter bond with Napa Valley Destination Council. This year's campaign will almost be entirely Web-based. One very unique boutique print piece will be in the hands of visitors and locals that will be memorable to say the least - stay tuned! To get the latest in events' information, NVarts.org will be the portal (no catalogs will be printed this year). Also new, will be a video documentary, photo contests, and a dynamic online catalog that has pages that flip like a magazine with videos to watch. Arts Council is pushing forward with leading edge marketing methods with less paper waste for the new millennium. Join in the Celebration by becoming a member of Arts Council Napa Valley:
This activity is funded in part by the California Arts Council, a state agency, as well as the National Endowment for the Arts, a federal agency.
