Arts Council Napa Valley Welcomes New Directors to Board
We are pleased to announce the addition of seven new members to the ACNV Board!
Four men and three women, ranging in ages, geographic representation, and a wide variety of professional experience were elected at the annual 2015 board meeting.
The following are now directors of the board:
Kelly Konis, VP Marketing & Communications, Visit Napa Valley
Mechele Manno, Interim Associate Dean, Napa Valley College Upper Campus in St. Helena
Kim Powers, Content Coordinator, Wine Train, Napa
Omar Peña, Talent Acquisition Specialist, Nelson Staffing, Napa
Steven Rea, CEO, The Reserve Group, Napa
Judd Wallenbrock, CEO & Managing Director, The Good Life Wine Collective, which includes Jessup Cellars in Yountville
Vincent Xeus, Fine Artist, The Art of Vincent Xeus, Yountville
Already serving on the ACNV board of directors are Carlene Moore, CEO Napa County Fair in Calistoga, Chair; Shelly Hanan, Shell Hanan Photography, Vice Chair; Mark Joseph, City Council Member of American Canyon, Treasurer; Azalea Aguilar, Spanish language teacher at Vintage High and Napa Valley College; Hugo Corro, Director, Boys & Girls Club in American Canyon; and Angela Hoxsey, owner, House in Order organizational services.
“It was really wonderful for the Board Development Committee to be able to meet with so many gifted individuals who expressed interest in joining the ACNV board,” Hoxsey reported. "We are honored to have such passionate and diverse group join the team to lead ACNV and serve the community."
New board directors are elected by a majority vote of the seated members through either a self-nomination or invitation of ACNV’s Board Development Committee. Hoxsey continued, “ACNV welcomes interested community members to contact us through our website for more information about serving on the board. Elections are held annually in late Spring."
On the new slate of directors ACNV President & CEO Olivia Everett said, “The ACNV board has a strong vision for how the arts can make not just a positive but transformative impact within our community. And this class represents a wonderful infusion of talent to help forward that goal. I am continuously grateful and excited to be able to work with and for this amazing team of volunteers.”
