Arts Council Napa Valley is proud to announce five partners in 2016’s Creative Change, a program that promotes Napa Valley Arts in April® events that are giving back a portion of their profits to the community.  Throughout the month of April, partnering businesses are joining together to help ACNV meet its annual fundraising goal of $30,000 by June 30, 2016.  2016 Creative Change partners include the Napa Valley Wine Train (Premier Partner), ENGAGE Art Fair, Flora Springs Winery, La Belle Epoque, and Alpha Omega Winery.

Returning for the third year, the Napa Valley Wine Train is Creative Change’s 2016 Premier Partner.  Since 2014, the Wine Train has contributed over $10,000 through Creative Change.  Throughout the month of April, the Napa Valley Wine Train will donate $1 of every wine flight purchased on board or at the Wine Train’s Arts in April Friday Night Live Music events.  With over 1,800 visitors at the Wine Train Depot every week, this donation is a significant contribution to the arts, supporting ACNV’s mission to unite, support, and enhance Napa Valley’s exceptional arts and culture community.  Adding to this, the Wine Train Depot is featured as the “hub” for Arts in April with Central Station: The Arts in April Overview Exhibition, showcasing artworks that represent 36 out of 80 events throughout the month of April.  The Napa Valley Wine Train, an icon of the Valley, further demonstrates its commitment to the community through its weekly live music during Arts in April and recently announced new public mural program in partnership with Napa Valley Vine Trail.

“The art scene in Napa Valley is gaining momentum, on track to become an international art destination, and we are thrilled to be able to contribute.” said Wine Train Associate and Arts Council Napa Valley Board Member, Kim Powers.  “The Wine Train is a founding Creative Change partner of Arts Council Napa Valley and this will be our third year participating.  Our museum quality train is a labor of love to operate and maintain and that same loving attention is needed to nurture Napa Valley’s artistic community.  By giving back, the Wine Train is showing our ongoing support of Arts Council Napa Valley and their life-enriching initiatives.”

The Napa Valley Wine Train will hold five Arts in April events, one on each Friday throughout the month that will feature local musicians with many diverse styles - from flamenco guitar to ukulele - along with food and wine and no cover charge.  Entertainment will be from 5pm to 7pm at the Wine Train Station, 1275 McKinstry Street, Napa.
