Nominate a 2015 Arts Hero Today!

Mar. 03, 2015 | Arts Council Napa Valley

Spring is a time of emergence and celebration, think back on the incredible progress we, the community of arts lovers and creators, have come.  Napa Valley has been changing and growing in its artistic awareness through festivals, galleries, shows, courses and projects.  These successes don’t come easy…or without great champions forging through challenging and often seemingly impossible feats. Think about the board members, donors and patrons, the educators, and the business advocates who took risks and made the impossible possible for your artwork, for your organization, or just for the music. Or what about the emerging talent that reminded you what wild ideas and boundless inspiration are all about?

There are some incredible people in our community leading the way for the arts — we want to hear about them!  Tell us about your passion and thanks for an outstanding individual who has made a difference for the arts in Napa County - whether as an employee of a corporation or foundations, a dedicated philanthropist or volunteer, or an outstanding advocate.

Now, about the award—anyone is eligible to be nominated (with the exception of past honorees as well as currently seated Arts Council Napa Valley staff and board). If you feel the person is worthy, tell us about it.  So give that special person the best compliment and submit them for the 2015 Arts Hero Award! Just click here to nominate your Arts Hero.

All nominations must be in by March 20, 2015. The honoree will be selected by the ACNV Awards Committee. From there, the nominators (i.e. you) and honoree will be contacted for further information and additional steps. The final selected honoree will be recognized during Napa Valley Arts in April opening celebration on April 2, 2015 at the Napa Valley Museum, so save the date!

But before you click out of this page, nominate someone today!
