Featuring more than 40 events and activities, Napa Valley Arts in April™ - a month-long celebration of the Napa Valley Collection™ and the elemental connection between wine and the arts – is sure to satisfy the deepest craving for culture. Napa Valley hotels and resorts make it easy to explore and enjoy the destination's vast art offerings with special rates and packages available throughout the entire month of April. Offers include everything from complimentary access to art exhibits and events, dining credits, wine tasting experiences and more.

Many lodging properties are providing a complimentary Legendary Napa Valley Arts in April™ Founder's Pass with each guest stay. Valued at $20 per pass, the Founder's Pass provides access to the full collection of themed Napa Valley events and special offers taking place during Arts in April™. (Tickets to live performance venues are not included in the Napa Valley Arts in April™ Founder's Pass, but many offer discounts or special wine receptions throughout the month).

From American Canyon to vibrant Downtown Napa, to Yountville, St. Helena and Calistoga, wineries, galleries, museums, open studios, and other businesses will host art-and-wine events and serve up special arts-related offers. Following is a sampling of the specials offers and packages available at various Napa Valley hotels and resorts:

The Bardessono Hotel, Restaurant and Spa

A national model of green building and operating practices, the Bardessono is offering 20 percent off of the best available rate for stays Sunday through Thursday throughout April. In addition, guests will receive two complimentary Arts in April Founder's Passes. Rates start at $499 per night.

Blackbird Inn

Part of the prestigious Four Sisters Inns collection, which blends the modern luxuries and sophisticated services of a boutique hotel with the traditional amenities and architecture of a bed and breakfast, the Inn is offering an "Arts in April Package" that includes a one night stay; full breakfast buffet; afternoon wine and hors d'oeuvres reception; and two Arts in April Founder's Passes. Package is available for $145 per night for stays Sunday through Thursday and $185 per night on Friday and Saturday.

Embassy Suites Napa Valley

Stay at Embassy Suites Napa Valley, Sunday through Thursday, during the month of April, and receive a complimentary upgrade to a Romance Suite or an Executive Suite.

Harvest Inn

The AAA Four Diamond Harvest Inn is celebrating the arts in The Napa Valley with a special "Arts in April Package". The offer includes a stay in a luxurious king room with brick wood burning fireplace; two complimentary wine tastings for two at the Inn's preferred wineries featuring special art displays; two Arts in April Founders Passes; a commemorative print of The Napa Valley; daily complimentary wine country breakfast; bottle of private label Harvest Inn wine; and assorted beverages upon arrival. Package is available Sunday through Thursday only and requires a minimum stay of two nights. Rates start at $384 per night.

Meadowood Napa Valley

Plan a luxurious Meadowood getaway of any length during the month of April and enjoy a special tour and tasting each day you stay at one of five wineries (Cade Winery, Castello di Amorosa, Darioush, Clos Pegase and Opus One) featured in "How Wine Became Modern: Design + Wine 1976 to Now," a feature exhibit at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art (SFMOMA) that explores the visual culture of wine and its transformation over the last three decades. Additionally, guests will receive two Arts in April Founder's Passes to: nightly complimentary wine reception featuring a tasting of two Napa Valley wines led by Meadowood Director of Wine Education, Master Sommelier Gilles de Chambure.

Stay April 20, and also receive two tickets for "The Making of How Wine Became Modern" at the Cameo Cinema on Main Street in downtown St. Helena. SFMOMA's Henry Urbach, the curator of How Wine Became Modern, will share more about the exhibit and a wine reception featuring the wines from the Napa Valley wineries in the exhibit will be included. The event will be followed by The Art of Spring Shopping! From 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., each of St. Helena's Main Street art galleries will feature works by local artist as well as their current collections. An array of fabulous wines will also be presented by local vintners throughout the Main Street stores and galleries for you to sip and enjoy as you browse, socialize and shop.

Napa River Inn

The historic downtown hotel is offering a special package in honor of Arts in April that provides two Arts in April Founder's passes; a complimentary bottle of wine and early check-in and late checkout, based on availability. When booking you must reference promotional code "nvarts" to receive the special offer.

Napa Valley Marriott Hotel & Spa

For the month of April, the newly renovated Napa Valley Marriott Hotel & Spa presents a special offer that includes deluxe accommodations for two; two Arts in April Founder's Passes; and a $50 food and beverage credit at the hotel's new VinEleven restaurant. Prices start at $249 per night.

Villagio Inn & Spa and Vintage Inn

For Arts in April, the two hotels are presenting "The Yountville Escape Artist" package for $585. The offer includes two luxurious nights of accommodations at Villagio Inn & Spa or Vintage Inn; daily champagne breakfast buffet and afternoon tea; $75 gift certificate for dinner for two at Hurley's Restaurant; two Arts in April Founders' Passes; complimentary tasting passes to neighboring wineries to enjoy the Yountville Art Walk.

White House Inn

The newly revitalized and renovated Inn is offering an amazing "Arts in April" package that presents more than 40 percent off in savings. Priced at $465, the package includes one night stay in a luxurious king room complete with fireplace; daily complimentary breakfast and evening of wine and cheese; two Arts in April Founder's passes; tour of the Gordon Huether gallery in Downtown Napa that includes artist-signed catalog, a 12 x 12-inch limited edition fused glass platter, valued at $250, and special 15 percent off of all gallery purchases through 2011; $100 dining certificate for use at either Oenotri or Angele (two popular downtown restaurants); and two complimentary wine tasting passes to a couple of Downtown Napa's cool wine tasting lounges. Guests can stay longer and enjoy 50 percent off the standard room rate for the second night. Offer is valid for stays Sunday through Thursday only, through April.
