Applicant sought for Napa County Arts and Culture Advisory Committee

NAPA – The County Executive Officer announces one opening on the Napa County Arts and Culture
Advisory Committee, due to a vacancy, representing the area of Presentation/Performing Arts, with the
term to commence immediately and expire September 30, 2018.


The seven-member Committee represents the following areas of the arts and culture industry:
Youth Arts, Presentation/Performing Arts, Creation of Arts and Culture Opportunities, Education of Arts
and Culture, Arts Council Napa Valley (ACNV) and the County at Large. The Committee conducts and
oversees grant programs and makes recommendations to the County regarding the award of grants. The
Committee assists with the development of grant guidelines, provides an application process and
application forms, appropriately advertises and calls grant proposals, holds grant training workshops as
needed, and develops scoring criteria for evaluation of grant applications. Unless otherwise stated in
the posted meeting agenda, meetings are held on the 4th Monday of October, January and April each
year at 9:00 a.m. at the County Administration Building in the Board of Supervisors Chambers, 1195
Third Street, Suite 305, Napa, CA 94559.
