ACNV Opens Summer 2022 Community Fund Applications!

Arts Council Napa Valley Opens Summer 2022 Community Fund Applications!

Are you an individual artist, group/troupe, or small 501 c3 arts & culture organization seeking funding to support your project for the community? Arts Council Napa Valley opens our Summer 2022 round of Community Fund grants.

ACNV’s Community Fund grants will provide funds for individual artists, groups/troupes and small organizations (with a budget of $100,000 or less) toward community-facing public arts & culture projects.

The Community Fund grant application is a two-phase process, starting with a simple question: What project or program would you create with up to $5000? Please describe your project as well as how it will benefit the community.

The video, audio, or text answer to this question must be emailed to Crysta@ArtsCouncilNV.org by May 13, 2022 @ 5 PM for applicants to be considered for the second phase of the application process. Please submit a 1-4 minute video/audio file or 300-800 words (1-3 pages) written answer. If you would prefer to virtually meet with Crysta, please schedule an appointment via email or phone.

Answers will be judged on the following criteria by our panel:

– Impact: How your idea serves the community in Napa County through arts & culture
– Values: How your idea prioritizes innovation, inclusivity, collaboration, integrity, strategy, & fun
– Capacity: Your ability to administer, implement, and garner support for the project/program

Tip: The more details you can give now, the stronger your Phase One proposal will be!

ATTENTION: This proposal does NOT guarantee funding. Proposals selected to move forward by our panelists will complete the Phase Two application for a final panel recommendation.

If you have any questions, contact Crysta at Crysta@ArtsCouncilNV.org, or call (707) 257-2117 ext. 1.
