The fourth annual Napa Valley Arts in April® has begun! Celebrating the elemental connection between wine and the arts, this month-long program satisfies cultural cravings with an exploration of winery art installations, pop-up exhibitions and tastings. Introduced in April 2011, Arts in April offers special access and packages to enjoy the Napa Valley Collection, making it the perfect time to get a dose of Napa Valley culture.
The significant art collections and homegrown artists of the Napa Valley are showcased in collaboration with more than 39 of the region’s wineries and over 150 artists throughout the month of April for the fourth annual Napa Valley Arts in April®. This month of art-focused festivities features a variety of work spanning both medium and subject matter, ranging from Enice Heo’s Neil Young-inspired series of painting assemblage at Jessup Cellars in Yountville, to a valley-wide tour of winery architecture at historic properties such as Trefethen, Charles Krug and Inglenook, including a rare tour of the Niebaum Mansion at Inglenook. In addition to traditional gallery shows and artist receptions, Arts in April features artist-led public art crawls and the performing arts. Participating wineries with new exhibitions and special Arts in April programming include HALL Wines, Monticello Vineyards, Peju Province Winery, Robert Mondavi Winery, St. Supéry Estate Vineyards and Winery, Sterling Vineyards and Sullivan Vineyards.
