St. Helena Arts in April Town Event on April 15
Join St. Helena for Arts in April at “Arts in the Streets” on April 15, 12pm – 3pm
“Arts in the Streets” is a nod to the beautiful complexity of St. Helena’s modern and multicultural identity from generations of winemaking families to our rich Latino community–St. Helena is made great by its cultural diversity.
St. Helena’s Lyman Park will come alive with arts and culture for the town’s celebration of Napa Valley’s Arts in April. “Arts in the Streets” is a nod to the beautiful complexity of St. Helena’s modern and multicultural identity from generations of winemaking families to our rich Latino community–St. Helena is made great by its cultural diversity.
In the spirit of this theme, the park will come alive with community interactive art with Nimbus Arts, poetry from the Napa Valley Writer’s Conference, local student artwork displayed in part by the Robert Louis Stevenson Museum student showcase exhibition, culinary delights from the Napa Valley Cooking School and music from local bands across the valley including Bluewind Jazz Band, solo Cello works performed by Jeffrey Johnson and the New Era Beats Brigade (a modern Brass Band)! Please join us in celebrating each other through the arts.
Nimbus Arts is bringing its brand of creativity to the streets! Join us for live arty action with the Nimbus artist street team. Enjoy live action painting with stencils, spray paints, street chalk and other lively creative materials. All ages can join in on the fun and make your mark at this great day of Arts in April!The Robert Louis Stevenson Museum will be participating at Arts in the Streets! During the event we will be featuring some of the paintings done by students at RLS Middle School inspired by Stevenson, the rest of which are on display at the corner of Library Lane and Adams Street.
