Hello Friends of the Opera House,
We have had a busy Summer hosting beautiful musical performances and community events. The Napa Valley Opera House (NVOH) is truly becoming a cultural arts and community center for all. From Salsa Con Vino, to the “Grand Ole Napa Valley Opry House” – a Country and Blue Grass music celebration, to the Air Force Band of the Golden West, we are continuing to fill the NVOH with diverse programming. Thanks to the community, attendance at our programs continues to grow and our local groups are finding new, supportive audiences.
We are thrilled to announce that over the next few months we are presenting several new fantastic performances as part of our “Local Artists Series.” The line up is listed below and you can visit nvoh.org for more information and tickets.
Additionally, we have opened the Opera House to a number of community organization seeking a unique place to host meetings. If your organization is interested in planning a meeting or event in this historic spot, please email Lisa@NOVH.org.
You may have noticed a slight name change in the upstairs theatre. Now called the JaM Cellars Ballroom at the Margrit Mondavi Theatre, a new licensing and donation from JaM Cellars will provide additional promotion and patronage of programs for the Napa Valley Opera House and Blue Note Napa.
Finally, we want to recognize and thank Bell Products for coming to the aid of the Napa Valley Opera House to address our critical heating and air conditioning system issues. Through their assistance we will be able to keep everyone comfortable during the shows.
