Lucky Penny announces ambitious plans for sixth season

Full slate of productions plus new Youth Academy and Development of Community Arts Center

(Napa CA) At their season announcement party March 9, Lucky Penny Productions unveiled a complete lineup of plays and musicals for 2014-15, and also gave a first look at plans for a new multi-purpose community arts center and a new Youth Academy program.

The arts center, now in the conceptual phase, is intended to provide training, rehearsal and performance space available to a spectrum of local artists, and serve as the home venue for Lucky Penny Productions. A potential location has been identified and work is underway to assess the improvements needed and obtain permits. Once the location is secured, a community-wide campaign to fund the improvements will begin.

The Youth Academy is designed to be a Project/Performance Based Learning opportunity that will provide hands-on experience in all aspects of theatre creation, from script analysis to design and performance. It is planned to begin in the spring of 2015.
