Lucky Penny’s “I’m the Greatest FUTURE Star!” – Musical Theater Competition for Kids
Young performers take the Napa Valley Opera House stage September 21
Lucky Penny Productions, in cooperation with the Napa Valley Opera House, presents the second “I’m the Greatest FUTURE Star!” musical theater singing competition for youth on September 21, 2014. The event is open to performers age 6 to 16, who will compete for prizes in three age groups.
The competition is limited to 30 contestants and the deadline to apply is Friday, September 5. An application fee of $10 is required to enter. Complete details and a downloadable application form are available at www.luckypennynapa.com.
The first “I’m the Greatest FUTURE Star!” competition took place in the spring of 2013, as tie-in to Lucky Penny’s production of the classic musical Funny Girl. That show is now being remounted for an August-September run at 6th Street Playhouse in Santa Rosa.

The Californians Connecting to Collections Project (C3) is a statewide preservation project, funded by The Getty Foundation, which is providing information, education, and training to California heritage institutions. The following free workshop is currently being offered:

The Heritage Health Index determined that most collecting institutions need an emergency or disaster response plan that includes collections, and staff trained to carry it out.
