Exploring Brazilian Cooking with Chef Almir Da Fonseca

Chef Almir Da Fonseca, authority on Brazilian cuisine and professor of Culinary Arts at The Culinary Institute of America at Greystone, will be offering a one-hour cooking demonstration to celebrate the launch of his book, The Brazil Project.

” (My) book is a celebration of the great work being done by the farmers, fisherman, food producers, artists and craftsman creating amazing tasting pleasures in Brazil. With this book I am celebrating it and inviting the reader to go there and see with their own eyes and taste for themselves the beautiful cuisines of Brazil. Learn the expert tips you need to bring the delicious dishes of Brazil home to your kitchen! Chef Da Fonseca will be preparing tastings of five traditional Brazilian recipes from his new cookbook. Following the demonstration, Chef Da Fonseca will be available for booking signings and a Q&A.

Copies of The Brazil Project will also be available for purchase from The Store at CIA Copia.
