About the Job:

As a Digital Marketing Designer you'll own digital ad creation. You'll sit on the Brand team report to the Creative Lead, but collaborate closely with the Growth team to produce digital assets for advertisements and email marketing. Your role will focus on designing on-brand assets with the intent of improving performance. You will work with Email Marketing Managers, Digital Marketing Managers and Copywriters to develop concepts for campaigns, design assets, monitor performance and iterate designs.


Own Digital Ad Creation:

  • Performance-focused design: building a creative strategy and develop digital assets aimed at hitting key performance metrics (e.g. click-through rate, conversion rate, activation rate) across social media platforms, native ads and display, and email)
  • Create ads that clearly communicate KeepTruckin's value to new and existing customers and markets
  • Create a bank of ads and optimize quickly based on testing results
  • Manage and design projects that are on brand, with limited lead time
  • Work closely with the Performance Marketing, Product and Creative teams to develop design concepts and build performance ads that drive consumer/advertiser acquisition on our digital channels
  • Leverage data to optimize and determine ways to improve strategy and messaging and overall creative process

Email Marketing Design:

  • Work directly with the Email Marketing Manager to introduce new and innovative designs
  • Design dynamic emails and email templates in Pardot
  • Measure the success of email design efforts using key data metrics
  • Stay up to date with the latest email marketing best practices and technologies



  • 5+ years of experience designing paid marketing assets for brands (digital media, tech or online ad agency experience preferred)
  • Strong visual communication skills and the ability to think strategically about how to drive interest and conversion
  • Proficient knowledge in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Sketch and Affect Effects for animation and motion
  • Experience in HTML5 ad creation and CSSExperience in Google Web Designer is a plus
  • Experience working quickly and efficiently, and keeping pace in a lightning-fast startup environment
  • Experience working with writing partners to develop concepts, through to execution
