#8 Who We Are Wednesdays

What does an Arts Council do anyway? Part 8: Who's Gotten the Grants this Round?

Who We Are Wednesdays: What does an Arts Council do anyway?

A couple of weeks ago we talked about how granting works at ACNV, talking largely about the Community Fund Grant. Now that our Summer 2019 granting session is completed, we are proud to announce our winners for this granting season!

Thanks to funding provided by the William & Flora Hewlett Foundation, Arts Council Napa Valley announces the summer 2019 Community Fund grant recipients. Seven local programs received between $2,500 – $5,000 each, totaling $26,500 in funds awarded.

Awards reflect diverse artistic genres, disciplines and audiences – with the range of funded programs including live performances, creative exhibitions, family entertainment and more. These programs are supporting ACNV’s vision of enriching our community through arts and culture by creating greater access, engagement and culturally relevant opportunities for locals. ACNV has provided over $100,000 to artists and small non-profit organizations, so that local work may grow and deepen the impact of arts and culture for all in the Napa County community.
