The Theater

The Lincoln Theater, founded in 1957, underwent a $22 million renovation in 2005 that transformed the over 50 year old structure, into the modern, 1200 seat state of the art multi-purpose venue that it is today. Offering a broad range of top quality relevant, retro and classical entertainment as well as educational workshops and programs, the Performing Arts Center and its expert team are not only capable of handling most types and sizes of performing arts from full musical productions, Grammy-Award winning solo artists, symphony orchestras and stand-up comics, but also have the facilities and abilities to accommodate corporate events, speaker series, luncheons, expositions, conferences, and private events such as weddings and birthday parties.

Theater Lobby & Mezzanine Lounge

As you enter the Performing Arts Center, you will find yourself in the Theater Lobby.  This elegant room is a flexible space that can accommodate up to 300 people for a sit down event.  It is a 30×100 foot carpeted area with two paved entries that are perfect for dancing.  There are two concession areas, a cold kitchen with a 200-pound ice machine; TV monitors and a coat check room. The towering ceilings, vast windows and elegant spiral staircase leading to the Mezzanine Lounge, give this space a striking feel.  The space is adaptable for receptions, trade shows, seminars, weddings, sit-down luncheons and dinners. There are ample restroom facilities on this level for your guests and participants.

The Mezzanine Lounge will hold approximately 100 people.  Besides the spiral staircase, guests can reach this space by elevator. It is a 13×110 foot carpeted space.  There is a concession area, glass railing with a view of the Grand Foyer murals and grounds of the California Veterans Home through the 25-foot lobby windows.  The Mezzanine Lounge is a perfect spot for receptions and dinners.  There are also restroom facilities on this level for men and women.
