In partnership with the Napa Valley Community Foundation, Arts Council Napa Valley launched the Napa County Community Cultural Plan in 2008. The Plan, crafted entirely from community input, provides a vision and framework for a healthy, diverse, and vibrant Napa Valley arts sector for years to come. Arts Education: Since 1987, ACNV provides visual, performing, digital and literary arts programs to Napa Valley elementary and middle school children, as well as, instructional courses for artists interested in teaching the arts to youth. Each year, the Arts Council partners with the Napa County Office of Education for the annual "Napa County Reads" program and fundraiser to promote literacy. Learn more about Arts Education...
Arts Council Napa Valley Arts & Culture Event Calendar: We invite you to visit our Calendar that includes a wide array of events for all ages and interests with many tools such as receiving email or text message reminders, and the ability to add events to your personal calendar such as Google Calendar, and much more. The calendar is open for event submission from the public and is moderated 24/7. The calendar is sponsored by the County of Napa and Napa Valley Community Foundation. Visit NVarts.org
ARTwalk: On October 5th, 2009 Napa City Council accepted a proposal for the first ARTwalk in Downtown Napa, a program ACNV created in partnership the City of Napa's Redevelopment Agency. Please check back for details on this exciting new program.
Artists' Programs: ACNV offers a comprehensive Registry of Napa Valley Artists featuring talented artists for a nominal fee. Other programs include the Revolving Door Art program to match artists with local organizations to display their work, Teaching Artists program, and a regularly updated online listing of Artist Opportunities.
For Patrons of Art: ACNV offers two online directories of the Valley's finest artists; visit Arts Council Napa Valley Open Studios and Registry of Napa Valley Artists. If you'd like art on the walls of your organization, we invite you to join our Revolving Door Art program. We also offer a Directory of Arts & Cultural Resources.
