Teacher Opportunity: Student Voices Campaign Guide

Jul. 13, 2017 | California Alliance for Arts Education

We're looking for teachers to engage students to participate in the Student Voices Campaign during the 2017-2018 school year! Stipends are available for teachers who use the Student Voices Classroom Guide and supervise the submission of student videos for the 2018 Campaign.

The Student Voices Campaign offers a real-world opportunity for students grades 7-12 to learn about and impact school policymaking. Students are invited to create short original videos that capture their vision for their school to share with their local district leaders.

Our Classroom Guide structures the campaign as a project-based learning opportunity, with elements of civic participation, creative expression, media production, and community engagement. The guide is recommended for teachers grades 7-12 for any subject area.
